I want to share with females, and the world for that matter, to never let anyone tell you to be less than who you are. To always know you are supposed to love who you are as God loves who each one of us are.

“Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 1 John 4:8

I started realizing this ability during my Yoga Teacher Training in 2013 with Awakened Life School of Yoga. A fellow student at the retreat shared a quote from Marianne Williamson, called “Our Greatest Fear.” When she read the quote it brought me to tears. Why hadn’t I heard such empowering words before? How could I have let others encourage me to believe differently?

Before I continue, I invite readers to pause. Please read this quote. Read it out loud. Hear every word. Then take 5-10 minutes to write about what emotions and thoughts these words bring up. Do you notice any discomfort or tightness in your stomach? Your heart? Do you feel at ease and agree with these words? Write about it.

Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson
it is our light not our darkness that most frightens us
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
—Marianne Williamson

I would love to hear what this message brings out in you! Please share your experience of the powerful words of Marianne Williamson.
