Fun with Hydration
We all know it is important to drink water. But have you found yourself bored with an average glass of H20?
Adding fresh fruit and even vegetables to your water can add delicious flavor and various health benefits.
Recently I made my mom and my favorite, lemon, cucumber, and mint water.
To make this recipe, you need:
1 lemon
1 large cucumber
5-6 fresh mint leaves
Rinse all. Then, thinly slice 3/4 of the lemon and 1/2 of the cucumber and massage the mint with your fingers.
Put the slices and mint into a pitcher, then squeeze the 1/3 lemon over the ingredients. Add water and ice, stir and enjoy! Refilling with fresh water for 1-2 days. Best stored in a fridge. I like to use the leftover cucumber to eat and also as a garnish the drinks.
