"Is there more to life?"
Many times, actually probably constantly, in the past 12 years my mind was concerned with the idea that there was more to life. I always thought I was missing something. I felt I did not fully understand life, and everyone else around me did. I let this idea constantly bug me, but I also let it drive me to discover what I was missing.
Thinking back, I had all the tools... I was raised Catholic, I went to weekly catechism classes, participated in young life, went to church... My family was extremely supportive, and we all believed in God. But, It wasn't until fall 2016, when I actually started creating a relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
When I truly focused on having a personal relationship with the Holy Trinity, I finally began to find the peace I had been searching for. The feeling of, "oh yea, this is what I was missing. This is what adds the most value and understanding to my life."
Yes, foolishly what I was missing was right in front of me the entire time. I simply didn't put enough effort into it. I was walking around the edges, instead if diving right into a pool of knowledge, love, truth & trust.
I want to be there for others who find themselves questioning life, for others who feel there has got to be more to life. I want to be an encourager; the one that gets people to challenge their own thoughts. I want to be a supporter; the one that is by their side as they create new pathways of understanding.
Now, I've been working on my relationship with the Holy Trinity since 2016... and I am aware I will be working on it daily for the rest of my life... But, I feel 100% certain this was what was missing for me, and hey, why not give it a try and see if this is what is missing from your life as well.
My 3 tips on starting a relationship with the Holy Trinity:
1) Worship, Dance & Sing
2) Read & Ask Questions
3) Pray & Give Gratitude
Growing my relationship has brought me into a place of peace and state of calm that I have never dreamed possible. It has opened me up to blessings that are so unbelievable they can only represent God's grace. Although these occurrences are effortless to God, for me, this place of peace and state of calm requires patience. To get where I am now, I have had to and will continue to devote time, dedication, focus and commitment so I can stay in this place of peace and continue to receive and share God's endless blessings.
In my next blog post I will break apart these 3 tips and share what has worked for me! :)
Now, with my path focused on God, and knowing he will provide, I am positive in everything I do, I can trust that He is with me, and He is molding me every step of the way.

Ephesians 6:10-18
-The Armor of God-
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
